TOPIC              2nd Annual AFP AAA Ugly Sweater Holiday Party with a Purpose

Join the AFP-DC African American Affinity Group and fellow DMV development professionals for an Ugly Sweater Holiday Party with a Purpose: a networking social to benefit a local non-profit organization.

Attendees are asked to wear their UGLIEST holiday sweater and bring an unwrapped toy for a child in need. (Prizes will be awarded throughout the event.)

AFP African American Affinity Group’s mission is to foster diversity and engagement among local Washington, D.C. metropolitan area fundraising professionals of Black descent and African heritage. The affinity group’s key objectives include (1) providing professional development and mentorship, (2) maximizing access to new and existing fundraising practices, and (3) increasing visibility among Black and African-American fundraising professionals through communication, social media, and in-person events.
